CERES Autumn Harvest Festival is on this Saturday (31st March) - see you there!

This Saturday, across CERES' ten acre site will be a range of activities and events that celebrate our community, our environment, our sustainable food systems and CERES’s 30th birthday.

The unbelievable, exciting array of features include:
  • Workshops, talks and activities,
    • Edible weeds,
    • Chooks,
    • Compost,
    • Landshare,
    • Permaculture design,
    • Growing from cuttings.
  • Kids activities,
  • Music,
  • Stalls,

Meet special guest Matthew Evans (details), get close to free-range farm animals, enter the cake baking competition (details), enjoy live music and so much more. There will also be a diverse range of food and craft stalls plus heaps of activities for the kids.

They've invited many guests for talks and demos on edible plants, chooks, food forest, stalls, music, children activities and many others, there is also gourmet lunch ($75/$85).

This will be a big, community, seasonal celebration this year!

Entry is free so join in celebrating the abundance of the harvest and the wonder that is the cycle of the seasons.

CERES could really do with a good show of support after their recent press problems. Get out and show your support for what is a tremendous sustainability asset in our area.
