The Royal Botanic Gardens in partnership with the Catholic Education Office Melbourne will present sessions on; the cross curricula priority of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders people in the AusVELS and Indigenous culture.

Food gardens for schools and kinders
Participants will see food growing at school in a new light – look at using food plants to enhance your school grounds through good design; develop ideas on how to share fresh produce with your school community and try some simple recipes that kids will love tasting and sharing:
- hardy, edible plants for schools
- multi-function garden design
- share some tasty recipes
- cooking without a kitchen
