MFGN Quarterly Social- Friday 18th March 6.30

Unfortunately, this social has been cancelled.

Moreland Food Gardens Network (MFGN) quarterly social events are informal get-togethers for anyone interested in urban agriculture, local, sustainable and/or community-based food growing. Everyone is welcome. We hear from interesting speakers then talk with them and generally catch up on what's been happening, renew connections and make new ones.

For our next social on Friday 18th March between 6.30-8.30 pm we'll catch up on everyone's projects, share some summer abundance and our guest speaker will be Haiku Van Keuk. Haiku is a landscape architect who has been living and working on urban farming in Copenhagen, Denmark.

She's going to share some inspirational stories about the urban agriculture projects she's been involved with over there - a rooftop farm, a community garden and an entrepreneurial startup that creates gardens and runs workshops.

Location: West Brunswick Community Garden if its not raining. If it rains we'll relocate to Richard Lynch Centre, 27 Peacock St, West Brunswick. See google map here.

When: Friday 18th March from 6.30
Refreshments: BYO shareable food and drink
