Moreland City Council values the contribution that engaged citizens make to our community. From those driving action on climate change to those supporting Moreland’s vulnerable residents their work is a vital ingredient in what binds our community together.
This is the first in a series of two workshops to support Moreland residents engaged in social causes.
These workshops will focus on identifying burnout issues and self-care needs and provide information and personal skills for improving physical and mental resilience when involved with social causes.
By attending the workshop you will:
• Learn ways to boost your physical and mental resilience
• Safely express your feelings and identify self-care needs related to community activities
• Understand the causes and prevention of burnout in community organisations
• Help determine future self-care support needed to prevent burnout.
